♻️ Supporting Our Local Community

As students prepare to head back to the classroom, we are proud to support the ESPFA by donating 25 office chairs to help furnish their classrooms for the new school year.

Rather than letting perfectly usable furniture go to waste, these chairs have been given a new purpose, supporting local education and helping create a comfortable environment for students and staff.

We're delighted to see these items being reused within the community and wish everyone at ESPFA a successful and exciting year ahead. 🎓

🌟Outstanding Achievement

A huge well done to Stephen Barnett, our Senior General Foreman who was recently recognised on the Banwell Bypass project for his outstanding commitment and dedication in preparing the site for a planned closure, with the Flouring People Award.

Working closely with our client Octavius and Galliford Try, Stephen played a key role in ensuring the site was fully prepared for the upcoming works, while continuing to supervise teams and support the day-to-day operation of the project.

Site Supervisor Steven Ho**er Ho**er added, “Although Stephen is never one to seek recognition and would credit the wider team, his organisation, professionalism, and hard work have been noticed by everyone on site. A well-deserved acknowledgment of an excellent contribution.”

📍Zouch Bridge Replacement

After 11 months onsite, Zouch Bridge is officially open to traffic, a fantastic milestone marked by a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together everyone involved in delivering the scheme.

Matt Dillon, Contracts Manager for the scheme added, “I’m pleased to say, with the amount of work to overcome in the final month that Zouch bridge successfully opened to traffic on the 4th July, slightly ahead of plan.

The Site team at all levels did a fantastic job, producing great outputs and quality throughout the whole project, maintaining a good attitude despite some tough days. It’s a pleasure to drive through now open, with the Client and LCC being very happy with the final product.

Our suppliers did a great job assisting us with sub-contracted work and materials also. Big credit all round to everyone."
