Gorgeous Gardens by Kevin Gould Wisteria pruning - Plants - Lawns - Weeds - Small Trees.

I’m no expert at any DIY I just give it a go. To build the planter, I measured up first and decided what timber I wanted to use. I know I didn’t want it to look like a decking board planter (no offence) Once I had chosen the timber I wanted to use. I double checked my measurements and made all cuts first before I started assembling. I used some upright timbers on the corners and along the sides for all my fixings, screwing from the inside so no screws are visible from the outside. This would make for a smarter more professional look at the end. I put a couple of timbers across the centre to stop any Boeing as this is a very large planter. I left the bottom open for good drainage. Although I used treated timber, I finished by lining with plastic for longevity. If you watched my previous reel you will see that I removed a lot of stone and topsoil from the front garden. I used some of this to fill the planter starting with stone then topsoil and I finished with some bags of compost. I hope you find this useful?

Thank you so much to everyone who have viewed my previous post about my front garden transformation. It’s currently over 60,000 views and nearly 1000 likes ♥️ I have been asked a couple of questions. First the bins are still there in the front garden but now they are much less visible from the street. Second is the blue bricks! I love the blue bricks and have gathered a few more to add to the ones I already had and relayed them to make it a better usable space. A much better and more practical space. Before it was uneven and the soil level was too high covering the air vents to the house. All extra soil was moved round to the back garden. That is another transformation I must share with you all soon x
