⚡ ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE OPPORTUNITY – LOUGHBOROUGH ⚡

I’m looking at taking on an Electrical Apprentice to join Elliott’s Electrical Services and wanted to put a post out to see who may be interested.

We’re a small electrical company based in Loughborough carrying out a good mixture of work across Leicestershire, including:

⚡ Domestic & commercial electrical work
🏠 EICRs & landlord compliance work
🔥 Fire alarm & emergency lighting systems
🔨 Renovations & refurbishments
🔧 Fault finding, maintenance & general electrical work

I’m looking for someone who is reliable, keen to learn and genuinely wants to become an electrician. Experience isn't expected – attitude and willingness to learn are much more important.

Ideally you’ll be local to Loughborough or the surrounding area and either looking to start an electrical apprenticeship or currently studying electrical installation and looking for an employer.

You’ll be working alongside me day-to-day, getting proper hands-on experience across a wide range of electrical work while working towards becoming a qualified electrician.

A driving licence isn't essential to begin with, but would obviously be beneficial.

Electrical works completed as part of this bagel shop fit-out, ready for them to get open and serving.

Really enjoying getting involved with more commercial projects like this alongside our regular maintenance and compliance work.

8-Bed Refurb Complete ⚡️🏠

Another project wrapped up! We’ve completed the electrical works as part of this 8-bedroom property refurbishment, taking it from first fix right through to the finished installation.

A good amount of work has gone into this one, including new wiring, lighting, sockets and accessories throughout, ready for the property to go back into use.

We work alongside landlords, letting agents and refurbishment contractors across Leicestershire, providing everything from full electrical installations to ongoing testing, maintenance and compliance.

Sometimes you open up a light fitting on an EICR and immediately know it’s going to be an interesting one… 😅⚡️

This is exactly why an EICR isn’t just about taking a few readings at the consumer unit. Visual inspection of accessories and connections can uncover poor workmanship, alterations and potential safety issues that otherwise go unnoticed.

Another rental property inspected and tested across Leicestershire. ✅
