EHA Group Ltd is a full service construction firm, headquartered in Eglinton, Co. Derry, with an office in London which opened in 2011 and Belfast, opened in May 2015. The business was established in 1992 by Edward Allingham and incorporated in its current form in 2001. EHA Group provides Main Contracting, Civil Engineering, Design & Build and Property Development services across the island of Ireland as well as in London and surrounding South of England area. Our clients benefit from the expertise which we have built up over the years, particularly in residential projects, and more recently in social housing builds across Northern Ireland. EHA has vast experience in pre-construction planning and design as well as our Health and Safety, Environmental, and Specialist Regulatory advice. EHA Group also provide interior design consultancy and an in-house joinery manufacturing service, to complete our turnkey offering which many clients avail of. EHA Group currently has 80 employees, many of whom have over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. We directly employ all our staff and recruit from an array of professional backgrounds including architecture, engineering and surveys. Consequently, we have an impressive set of skills in-house which our clients really value. Our personable attitude and “can do” outlook, together with our expertise and attention to detail, have resulted in an impressive list of satisfied clients with whom we have developed lasting, multi-project relationships over the years.

We’re delighted to share that amongst three shortlists in the National Building & Construction Awards, that our Ballinderry Road development in Lisburn has been shortlisted for Project of the Year! 🎉🎉

Delivered by EHA on behalf of Apex Housing Association, the 120-home development provides a mix of social and affordable homes, including family homes, complex-needs bungalows and accommodation for over-55s.

Sustainability has been at the heart of the project including select homes featuring battery storage, air source heat pumps and heat recovery systems 🌱☀️

A huge thank you to everyone involved in delivering this fantastic project. We’re proud to see the hard work of the whole team recognised on the national stage! 👏🏆

Project Update 🚧

The EHA team on site in Ballinderry are nearing completion on this 120 unit scheme. The project is within a budding new community-focused neighbourhood.

The project is a Shared Housing scheme which is cross-community, with a number of affordable properties for sale.

More updates to come on completion and handover.

🏗Site Update

📍Hannahstown, West Belfast

EHA is delighted to be delivering 14o social homes for Radius Housing in West Belfast.

The first section of phase 2 is progressing well on this greenfield site on the Glen Road, with cut and fill activities due to complete this month.

The project will feature split level units, wheelchair accessible bungalows and apartments designed using Happi principles.

More updates to come.

Progress Update 👷🏼‍♀️

📍Curlyhill Rd, Strabane

Phase 1 which consisted of 26 plots was handed over at the start of August, which also included substantial communal areas and two communal paths.

Phase 2 which consists of 21 plots is scheduled for handover very soon.

Phases 3 & 4 consists of 31 plots, 3 of which are affordable housing. The outstanding internal work mainly consists of kitchens, vinyl, tiling and painting.

The site team is well advanced with grounds work in these areas.

Final handover is planned for mid-October.

Project Update: Curlyhill Road, Strabane 🏗️

Phase 1 which consists of 26 houses is due for handover on the 6th August.

Phase 2 which consists of 21 homes is progressing well internally and externally and is scheduled to be handed over in September.

All internal trades are finished, with grounds work, tarmac and railings externally to follow.

Phase 3 & 4 have most internal trades complete, following up with kitchens, internal tiling, painting and groundwork.
These phases are progressing well with an estimated handover of early October.

Project Update 🏗️

Construction is progressing well at Curlyhill Strabane with 78 houses now built and all scaffolding removed.

Internal second-fix works have been completed across these homes, with the exception of kitchen installations and final painting. Internal tiling is also progressing.

The first handover of 26 houses is scheduled for 6 August.

The next handover is planned for the beginning of September.
