London's Victorian and Edwardian homes were built with baths worth keeping.
An original cast iron bath can be chipped, stained and dull on the surface and still be completely sound underneath. Replacing it means losing a piece of the home's character - and a very heavy job getting it out.
Restoration keeps the original, brings the finish back and avoids the disruption of a refit.
