Very pleased with myself in achieving this promotion in my new business venture. I have now fully trained and helped enough people to get me to qualified distributor and I am now working to become a future team leader.
This has been a big turn around for me and a great way to start 2021.
I want to share my story with everyone as I hope by seeing how I have been able to overcome some obstacles in my life that I mite help someone out there who is going through a similar situation. So please all who read this if it does not help you it mite help someone in your friend list so like and share the post.
Like many people out there beginning of 2020 was looking good for us we had two holidays booked work was going well and we was happy.
Then COVID happened due to low demand at work I ended up on furlough 80% money and insecurity of remaining in a job.
Both our holidays got cancelled and I spent a lot of my day watching the news getting more and more depressed and losing hope for the future ( the news will do that to you I no longer watch it and people will know I have always been into politics sharing my opinions on Facebook but that is somthing I have had to cut out of my life and it helps )
I then at the end of June I get back to work but there is no bonus or no overtime something I have come to rely on and need. So cut backs are being made at home. Savings are starting to evaporate and I am starting to have some sleepless nights. I try to promote my own private plumbing services to get some extra work in but not much out there. I can’t afford a van so feeling very stuck in a situation slowly getting worse.
Then in September I am in a car crash on M25 a car goes into the back of me and although not the worst accident thankfully I do get a bad whip lash injury I am bed ridden for nearly a week and I then have to pay for Physiotherapy sessions out of my own money ( and hopefully later after a long winded personal injury claim goes through will get this money back )
I am now on Sick pay and off work for a while and I am getting back pain for the first time in my life not a good thing for a plumber to have issues with there back.
I do make a recovery and go back to work but I am now continuing to get this pain come and go. It is giving me sleepless nights I have insomnia for the first time in my life.
No matter what I try for the life of me I just can’t sleep my brain will not switch off I am thinking about money and worrying and in discomfort with my back thinking will I need to get a new job ? What else can I even do ? How will I get a new job when so many people are losing there jobs and with COVID and a recession what can I do ?
Now Christmas 2020 comes and paying for that wipes out the money we have saved. we had been hoping to get onto the property ladder saving a deposit but we are now looking like we are going to start getting into debt we have had to go onto universal credit to bridge the gap in money we have lost but they have overpaid us and telling us we are now in 3k debt. I have always avoided being in debt I worry about owing money out too much but now i am in debt and see no way out.
I know I have a lot to be grateful for and I am very lucky to have a lovely family and some great friends we have love, a roof over our head and we have food on our table and I know a lot of people don’t so I don’t want to play a sympathy card here or ask anyone to shed a tear for me I just want to explain how I had found myself by December 2020 in a much worse situation than I was in on January 2020
But I was introduced to a new company and a lovely woman Debra Phillips spoke to me about a opportunity to start my own business working from home ( so no back problem issues there )
Debra explained that all the training and support I need will be given to me. Debra would be my team leader and help me. So I decided to seize this opportunity and turn things around.
I first of all joined the company as a customer and managed to reduce my bills by £450 + a year for like for like services in fact in many areas I got upgraded improved services. I have also been given the tools to bring down the bills even further and with my first bill I received in January I have saved a additional £17 on top of the original savings so if that keeps up that’s a extra £200 + a year.
These saving was great but what has really changed my life is the business opportunity. Debra true to her word has supported me through this business and it is somthing anyone can do no matter what your background. Or current skill set, you can do it full time or part time like me.
The great thing about this business is you earn money by helping people save money.
It literally is something you would recommend to anyone you love and care about in fact my first customer was my mum Irene Ogrady I have since gone on to help some more friends and family Sandra Murphy , Ernie Ernest Ogrady , Clifford. And I hope to be able to go on top help many more people and pass this opportunity to both save money as a customer, earn money as a partner or both to as many people as I can.
The most important thing I have got back is my determination and optimism for the future. The fire is burning again and I have hope. I can see a fantastic future ahead with, financial security, company car, and all inclusive holidays of a lifetime paid for by the company. And alot of happy people who I have helped in some way no matter how big or small.
I want to thank debra for training me and my first few customers and people who have given up there time and allowed me to explain the service I have to offer to them.
Buy I especially want to thank my wife Leah Harvey for supporting me and looking after the children while I do my training and try to figure out how to use zoom and learn this new skill 😂
I am So glad to be up and running now I am sure there is more for me to learn and more issues that life will throw at me but I have the tools and support to deal with it all.
