Harvia Sauna Repair

We attended a sauna fault after the customer reported the system was tripping the fuses.

Following full testing and fault finding, we identified damage to the Harvia main power board. Further investigation showed that ferrules had not been used on the flexible cable connections during installation. Over time this created heat build-up at the terminals, resulting in connection damage, nuisance tripping and failure of the control board.

A replacement Harvia power board was fitted and the system was fully tested to confirm safe and reliable operation ✅

This is a good example of why sauna installation should be carried out by experienced sauna electricians. Small installation details can lead to costly faults and unnecessary component damage.

🔥 HUUM Sauna Safety Inspection

We attended a job after the customer reported seeing flames coming from their HUUM sauna heater.

A full inspection and fault finding process was carried out on the HUUM sauna system, including checks of the heater wiring, heating elements, electrical connections and the HUUM UKU Glass control system.

After testing, no electrical faults were found within the sauna system.

Following further discussions with the customer, the likely cause was identified as aromatherapy oils being poured directly onto the sauna stones, together with a low level of stones inside the heater. This can create excessive heat around the elements and increase fire risk.

The system was fully tested after inspection and all components were operating correctly ✅

Regular servicing and correct sauna stone levels are important for safe sauna operation.

Oceanic Steam Room Generator Repair

We carried out a repair on an Oceanic steam room generator after the system stopped working correctly.

We were recently asked to take a look at a newly installed hybrid sauna that wasn’t reaching the expected temperature.

After carrying out full electrical testing, we confirmed that both the heater and infrared panels are working correctly and delivering their rated output 👍

During the inspection, we spotted a small gap above the front glass panel. Because it’s at high level, it allows heat to escape — which can have a big impact on how the sauna performs, especially when the heater is already working near its recommended capacity for the room size.

Recommendation was simple: close the gap, then re-test the sauna 👌

If your sauna isn’t heating as it should, we’re happy to carry out independent checks and give you a clear, honest assessment.

HUUM Sauna Fault Finding

Today we attended a job where a HUUM sauna system was reported to be tripping the fuse.

After carrying out full testing, we confirmed that there was no fault with the HUUM sauna heater or control system. Everything within the sauna was working correctly.

The issue was traced to a faulty breaker in the consumer unit, which was tripping under load. Once replaced, the HUUM sauna was back up and running with no issues.

This is a great example of why proper sauna fault finding is important — not every fault is actually caused by the sauna itself.
