The much needed restoration work has recently received planning permission and listed building consent.

Located at the rear of the site, the new-build structure creates a home work space that doubles as guest accommodation for the main house.

A sketch of the side elevation of the Frederick Harold Young Mausoleum in Margravine Cemetery, Hammersmith.

The structure is one of several within Openeight's listed building application, granted consent earlier this year.

The drawing shows the blind arcading with granite shafts, Portland stone dressings and fish scale roof tiles.

Built in 1884, the Mausoleum is currently on the Buildings at Risk register, but hopefully with better days ahead.
