The NLA have announced the results to their Reimagine London ideas competition to help shape the future of the city and have shortlisted ABHR_A in collaboration with George King Architects !

Our proposal is a simple one - the residents of every road vote on the amount of parking bays to open for garden applications. Operated like allotments, residents can apply for a garden bay, priority for those without gardens first. The Garden Permit uses an existing, unfairly distributed land resource to extend the agency of inner-city residents, and can be easily rolled out across the Boroughs using existing technology and infrastructure.
