This job has been a real challenge for Ruthie this week. A lovely summer house that was in need of a good clean and re-paint.

Ruthie scraped off the flaking paint first, dry brushed all the cobwebs and grime away (good job she doesn't mind spiders!) and then scrubbed, sponged and wiped all the surfaces before undercoating all the bare bits of wood using a Swedish paint system purchased by the client.

Today was painting day and the difference between the before and after photos are brilliant. Still a couple of bits to do next week but a good job jobbed. Now for the weekend! Have a good one everyone!

That was a bit of a wet day but we both managed to get alot done!

Hopefully it will be drier tomorrow. 😜

Ruthie's had a full on day today. 😊

Removing bushes and clearing a raised bed this morning.....painting a shed and applying bark to a flower bed this afternoon. It's all go for both of us and we are loving it. 😊

H IS FOR - Hedges, Humming Bird Hawk Moths and a Hell of a lot of wildlife last week.

Matt's now off on a Scout Trip to Switzerland so he is tools down for a week - although he seems to have left me with a little list! 🤣

We had the privilege to work in a home today that dates back to the 15th Century. 🌹

The lovely owner had previously had some damp work done and needed paint work patching in, plus another window sill and wrought iron window railings seen to. Thankfully 15th Century houses turn out to be quite cool which was a bit of luck as it was 37 degrees outside - maybe it was the ghosties! 👻
