Thinking of changing your kitchen. This posts for you.
Thinking of getting a new kitchen?
Here’s a few recommendations we suggest to achieving your dream kitchen.
1: We think finding the right fitter is key to the whole process. As this whole process ends with them it surely should start with them. The earlier you bring your fitter on board the better. They should help you and point you in the right direction regarding brands and design. They will guide you in the right direction eliminating costly mistakes down the line and hopefully introduce you to tried and tested individuals within the industry who are going to look after you and the process.
2: Kitchen designers are not Fitters! We have lost count with how many times customers have handed over tens of thousands of pounds for a couple of pieces of A4 paper with a lovely picture of their dream kitchen only to find out that the design just does not work. I’m not painting all designers with the same paint brush as there are a select few out there that truly care and take pride in delivering people’s dreams and exceeding people’s expectations. On the flip side there are a hell of a lot that are bonus and commission driven up selling you things you don’t need, forsaking the main goal, a kitchen that works for you and a extension of your personality.
3: Shop around. Just because the major players dictate the industry and sell the majority of the U.K’s kitchens doesn’t mean they are the best and the best for you. A lot of the smaller Independant suppliers and manufacturers have carved a way in the industry rectifying weak spots that the major players fail to address being design, materials, construction of goods, Transportation of goods and the most important one, Customer Service and after care.
I hope this helps you and if you need further assistance with your Design or Fitting needs do not hesitate to message us and if we can help, we will.
