Do I Need a Scissor Lift or a Cherry Picker?

Both are designed for working at height, but they work in very different ways.

A scissor lift provides a stable platform that moves vertically and is ideal when you need to work directly above your position.

A cherry picker, or boom lift, offers greater flexibility, allowing you to reach up, over and around obstacles.

So which one is right for your project?

It depends on the height you need to reach, the access available, the working area and whether you need vertical or outreach access.

If you're unsure, speak to our team and we'll help you choose the right access equipment for the job.

How Do I Move 20 Tonnes of Soil Across My Site?

Moving large quantities of soil manually isn't just inefficient, it can quickly eat into your project time.

Depending on your site layout, access and distance, a combination of excavator and dumper could provide a much faster and more efficient solution.

The excavator does the digging and loading, while the dumper moves the spoil where it needs to go.

Not sure what combination you need? Give our team the details of your project and we'll help you work it out.

Can a 2-Tonne Excavator Dig Foundations?

In many cases, yes! A 2-tonne excavator can be an excellent choice for smaller foundation projects, particularly where access is restricted.

But choosing the right excavator isn't simply about size. You also need to consider digging depth, reach, ground conditions, access and the amount of material you need to remove.

That's where our team can help. Tell us what you're working on and we'll help you choose equipment that is suitable for the job.
