I’m honoured to be running the London Marathon in memory of Maya, a beautiful and courageous little girl who sadly lost her battle with leukaemia at just 9 years old.
Maya was my daughter’s close friend for the past five years, and in that time she touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her kindness, strength, and wonderful smile. Her loss has left an enormous void, and she is deeply missed every single day by her family, friends, classmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
I’m taking on the challenge of the London Marathon to honour Maya’s memory and to raise money for a cause that means so much. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support vital research, provide hope for children and families facing leukaemia, and contribute towards a future where fewer families have to experience such heartbreaking loss.
Please help me make every mile count by supporting my fundraising. Together, we can celebrate Maya’s life, keep her memory alive, and make a real difference in the lives of other children and their families.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support.
