A carefully executed Victorian façade restoration in Pursers Cross, Fulham, SW6.

Our building restoration team used the specialist ThermaTech cleaning system to remove accumulated dirt and surface staining while protecting the original brickwork and architectural detailing.

The project also included:

✅ Repairs to cracked and deteriorated render
✅ Restoration of the original Victorian mouldings and decorative brickwork
✅ Preparation and repainting of the front façade
✅ Renewal of defective lead flashing along the roof edge
✅ Refurbishment of the rainwater pipework

A great before and after from this front façade restoration on Herbert Street, London NW5.

The existing mortar had become heavily perished in areas, leaving open and weakened joints across the brickwork and increasing the risk of moisture getting into the building.

Our team carefully removed the defective mortar before repointing the façade using a traditional breathable lime mortar, helping to protect the brickwork while keeping the finish appropriate for the age and character of the property.

We also repaired the render fillet at the top of the elevation to improve the weathering detail and leave the façade properly finished from top to bottom.

A much cleaner finish, better protection from the elements and a front elevation that now looks properly maintained again.
