We recently undertook our first community engagement to hear feedback and talk to people about proposals for a fantastic new development near Grantown on Spey put forward by Tormore Estate. A revitalised failed tourist attraction will be a magnet on the A95 to attract new visitors to the town. Tourist accommodation in bespoke timber clad cabins set in woodland form phase 1 of the development, phase 2 will be a farm shop which will focus on Tormore produce and food in its restaurant, as well as a complimentary food retail offering in partnership with local suppliers. The site is linked to the town by a 20 min walk through the wonderful Anagach Community Woods - along the speyside way. We believe this can be a catalyst for new retail on the High Street to complement the offer created here.
