A special thank you to ADVANCED NI SCAFFOLDING LTD , Browne’s Scaffolding Ltd , i-SCAFF™️ Access solutions Ltd , MAR SCAFFOLDING (SCOTLAND) LIMITED , CCS Scaffolding Ltd and SRT Scaffolding Services for taking the time to join us and share your experiences, challenges and ideas around recruitment and retention within the scaffolding industry.
It was a really valuable conversation around how NASC can better support our members with their recruitment and retention plans, and how we can work together to attract, develop and retain the people our industry needs.
A special shout-out to Anne Pavey from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) for supporting the session and helping to break down some of the barriers around how the DWP can support businesses through funding and employment initiatives.
It was fantastic to have that insight and to explore how these opportunities could benefit our members.
There is a real appetite across the industry to work collaboratively on recruitment and retention, and conversations like these are an important step towards making that happen.
Thank you to everyone who contributed — lots of great ideas, honest conversations and, most importantly, a real focus on finding practical solutions. 💪
