Is it us or was it still sweater weather, just the other week??
Now, we're all struggling to keep our homes cool, while it's reaching 37 degrees outside!

We just received these photos from one of our installers, who just finished installing traditional box sash windows at this popular period mansion block in Putney.

These new windows are like-for-like replacements of the originals but, as they're double glazed, bring much better draft insulation when it's cold, and are much better able to keep the cold IN and the heat OUT during the summer months!

Plus, elegant plantation shutters create the perfect balance between natural light, privacy and temperature control, by softening direct sunlight while still allowing the room to feel airy and open. We worked closely with the architects to produce this beautiful bespoke shopfront -- designed, manufactured and installed by our excellent in house team of designers, joiners and site carpenters.

The material for these beautiful arched window frames is speacially treated Accoya, which will witchstand the wind and rain for a generation! We also installed acoustic insulating double glazing and high quality bespoke ironmongry from Italy.

Take a look at this beautiful locking system for new box sash windows recently installed at a beautiful Wimbledon home.

These devices are installed on the upper part of the lower window sash or the side of the window frame to limit how far the window can be opened - an ideal safety measure for ensuring no one from outside is able to enter, or for someone inside to fall out. It can also be a fantastic ventilation solution while maintaining security.
