What a weekend! Thank you to every one who came along including the last minute influx of people we had yesterday!

And a huge thank you to Jenny Lewis who treated us to a very special and personal insight into her Hackney Studios Project on Saturday - we can't wait to watch the 'family tree' grow & develop.

Our aim for hosting the Open Studios was to showcase what goes on often behind (literally!) closed doors and to connect with our local creative community. It has been so exciting, interesting and just plain nice to be able to do that. We'll be doing it all again in spring/summer until then keep checking back here for updates and news on the artists and makers in and around Crown Works.

An amazing opportunity to hear Jenny speak (for free!) about the work and a topic very close to our hearts - the often hidden creative community in & around East London and the challenges they are facing.

The doors are open and the beers are cold....the first ever Crown Works Open Studios is officially ON!

A special thanks to our friends at The Redchurch Brewery for the lovely beers - we're just about to crack the first one open.
