⚽ Home Counties Branches vs London Town Branches – Adams Park ⚽
Our branches went head-to-head at Adams Park, home of Wycombe Wanderers, for a fantastic day of football and team spirit.
The Home Counties team, playing in white, was captained by Dan Hood from our High Wycombe branch, while the London Town team, wearing pink, was led by Kev Hammocks from Hanwell.
Both sides started the match full of energy and enthusiasm, putting on a great display for everyone watching. After an entertaining game, London Town emerged victorious with a 6–2 win.
A special mention goes to both goalkeepers, John Bourke and Craig Newman, who were named Man of the Match for their respective teams following a series of outstanding saves throughout the game.
It was brilliant to bring so many of our branches together, and we’d like to thank everyone who played, came along to support, organised the event and helped make the day such a success. In particular, a huge thank you to our Brockley branch, who made an incredible effort, with 11 team members travelling over two hours each way to take part and cheer on the teams.
The celebrations continued afterwards in the clubhouse, where plenty of drinks, laughs, and a few ice packs were shared!
Thank you to everyone who got involved — we really appreciate it and look forward to the next one!
