Most cold room content shows the inside. Here's the other side of the wall.
Two Danfoss Optyma Slim Pack condensing units installed on gravel outside the building — one sized for chiller duty, one for freezer. Perforated cable tray run along the exterior wall for clean cable management. Emergency stop and isolator fitted. Copper pipework brazed and routed through to the evaporators.
Unit spec: OP-LSQM067LLW05E. 400V 3-phase, 50Hz. IP54 rated. LBP application. Manufactured 2025.

Most people only see the finished product. Here's what goes into it before handover.
GB Controls panel schematic designed for defrost heaters, solenoid valves, fan circuits, and door heaters. Güntner evaporator wiring mapped terminal by terminal. Insulated panels sealed. Checker plate flooring laid. Then the evaporator goes from floor to ceiling brackets.
Every wire routed to spec. Every connection documented. Nothing left to guesswork.

Dual cold room installation, walk-in chiller and freezer built from the ground up.
Insulated panel construction. Güntner evaporators sized for each room's duty. Copper pipework brazed and pressure-tested. Freddox digital controllers with defrost logic and alarm monitoring. PVC strip curtains fitted. Checker plate flooring in the freezer. Stainless steel racking in the chiller.
Both rooms commissioned and holding temperature — chiller at 3.0°C, freezer at −8.1°C.

Refrigeration fit-out, from condensing units to commissioning.
This carousel covers the full mechanical install for a dual cold room system built in an existing basement unit. External Danfoss Optyma condensing units feed insulated copper lines routed overhead into both rooms, each fitted with Güntner evaporators, GB Controls panels and alarm systems.
Scope of work:
→ External cable tray and wall penetrations
→ Danfoss Optyma condensing units on anti-vibration mounts
→ Insulated refrigerant pipework routed overhead
→ Copper brazing to evaporator connections
→ Güntner evaporator mounting (single & dual fan)
→ GB Controls evaporator panel + isolator
→ Alarm and safety systems
→ Full commissioning and handover

This Mitsubishi VRF system was throwing fault codes. Our technician stripped it back to board level, tested every sensor, checked compressor winding resistance, and traced the fault to a single connector. Fixed on-site. That's the BeCool standard

Dual cold rooms built from a bare basement to a complete structure.
This project required two interconnected walk-in cold rooms built within an existing commercial basement. Challenges included working below a concrete soffit with limited headroom and coordinating a multi-room layout with walk-through access.
Scope of work:
→ NAV System insulated panel assembly
→ Aluminium checker plate flooring
→ Interconnecting doorway between both rooms
→ Heavy-duty hinged cold room doors with safety release
→ Full structural build ahead of refrigeration fit-out
Structure complete and ready for commissioning. Refrigeration install to follow.
