High quality Douglas fir panels, custom made from lamellas of Douglas fir supplied by Dinesen, form wall cladding and joinery doors. Specialist mirrored doors and fanlights are used to help amplify the sense of space and reflect natural light. The shower room is clad in large format sheets of whitish porcelain tile, grout lines are therefore minimised helping to disguise the scale of space. An entrance ‘genkan’ houses the exact space for a folding bicycle, shoes and coats, whilst also fulfilling a regulatory smoke lobby requirement. The client is now enjoying the careful process of slowly populating with furniture and possessions.
