Always worth testing any old metallic services that enter a property, to confirm whether they would be classed as an extraneous conductive part or not.

This redundant gas feed, with a resistance reading of 188 ohms to the main earth, comes under the 22k ohms threshold defined in IET GN8.

So it might be redundant, but still requires bonding.

TPN Board upgrade for our client as part of wider works within the Church.

Custom unistrut step off to avoid other services.

Went with a zero cable tie approach, for ease of future testing / alteration. ..What do you make of it?

I've been looking after this Church for well over a decade, and in that time we've done our best to provide cost effective solutions to our loyal customer. It was nice to finally bin off these RCD main switch boards though. Just need a 75x75 end cap and it's dusted.

Replaced with DP RCBOs and SPD boards. Really like the step off plate they do, ideal when you're looking for rear entry.

The EV distribution board complete with O-Pen detection device and 5 pole auto resetting Mcb is a great option for your TPN EV circuits.

Used in conjunction with the 22Kw Easee Charge EVSE chargers, it makes for a great pairing.

The beauty of the Easee Charge is that you can have multiple chargers on one 6mm SWA TPN 22Kw circuit, and the chargers will auto balance the load dynamically across the chargers, as and when the power is required.

As this installation was also eligible under the Ozev work place charge & infrastructure grant scheme. We were able to save our clients a considerable sum.

We ensured that this installation conformed with Regulation 421.1.7. As this project took place within an HRRB (higher risk residential building), BS-62606 AFDDs were used for circuit protection throughout.

HRRBs are usually defined as being buildings over 18 m in height or in excess of six storeys.
