🌿 Abensberg Medical Center – built with Holz100
A general practice can be this beautiful 💚
At the Abensberg Medical Center, people are the focus – and you can feel it the moment you step inside. Here, patients are surrounded by nothing but pure, healthy solid wood.

Our multi-certified Thoma partner, Holz100 Bayern (https://www.thoma.at/holz100-bayern-gmbh/), designed and built this exceptional building on a turnkey basis.

A truly unique commercial building made of Holz100 – ecological, energy-efficient, and individually designed.

👉 700 m² of practice space
👉 Heated with a geothermal heat pump
👉 Photovoltaic system on the roof
👉 And the best part: During the heating season from October to February, heating costs are around €5 per day.

We are delighted with the fantastic photos of this extraordinary project and thank the entire team on site for their work! 🌲

From weekend retreat to cherished haven – bathed in the evening light 🌙
Today we're showing you another part of this special weekend home in western Poland. 🏡💚
As the day slowly winds down and dusk gently settles over the valley, this house unfolds its unique character – warm, peaceful, and full of life. ✨🌲
Tucked away among meadows and forests, this retreat has become a haven for the whole family. 🌿
The interplay of wood, light, and nature makes this evening atmosphere so special: The house glows from within while blending harmoniously into the landscape.

This project is the result of a wonderful collaboration between Treetop (building design & construction) and Mindful Architekci (interior design & ex*****on) – with attention to detail, precision, and a keen sense of naturalness.

Luxurious living – with safety, style & a connection to nature 🇮🇹🌳

We are delighted to present this exclusive Holz100 project: a project where sustainable values, an elegant ambiance, and an incomparably healthy indoor climate come together.

But it's not just the aesthetic beauty that makes this project unique – the safety aspect is equally impressive:

🏠 Fire protection at the highest level
Our solid Holz100 wall elements were subjected to flames for up to 150 minutes at 900–1000 °C in tests. The result: full structural load-bearing capacity, minimal heat transfer (

🌕 Moonwood – Our Natural Wood Protection 🌲

We completely forgo chemical wood preservatives. Our secret? Moonwood – the strongest and most durable wood nature provides. 🌿 It is carefully harvested and processed at our own sawmill in Gusswerk near Mariazell. This preserves the wood's full strength – for homes that last for generations.

💚 100% Natural. 0% Chemicals.

Why Moonwood?

✨ Harvested in winter during a waning moon.

✨ Particularly resistant to pests, fungi, and fire.

✨ Valued for centuries as a durable, stable, and healthy building material.

✨ Processed in regional cycles at the Thoma sawmill in Styria.

This results in a building material that is not only ecological and sustainable but also offers a unique quality for a home. 🏡💫

🪵 A House to Breathe In
Completed in 2022 by our experienced Holz100 partner Buchner GmbH, this home is much more than just a beautiful building:

👉 Abundant natural light, large windows, natural materials – the result is an indoor climate that simply feels good for its residents.

👉 A 60 m² basement apartment – perfect for guests, family, or as a quiet workspace.

👉 Planning & timber construction by Buchner GmbH, our long-standing Thoma Holz100 partner.

🌿 Why Holz100?

Because our houses are free of glue, chemicals, and pollutants – for a healthy home that supports the natural rhythm.

📎ATTENTION - On October 17th, Erwin Thoma will be giving a lecture in this region on the topic "Simply Wood - Simply Healthy" - the lecture is free. Be there! Register here: https://tickets.thoma.at/Wildsteig/

Holz100 in the South Seas?

Almost 😉… Our Olivier is currently putting the finishing touches on some exotic-sounding Holz100 elements in Lahr before they're loaded onto a truck. But they're not headed to the South Seas; they're going to a children's and youth welfare organization in Bavaria 🧒👧💚

There, a healthy, fragrant wooden environment is being created for the children – and we think that's at least as beautiful as the South Seas themselves! 🌿✨

From weekend getaway to cherished home. 🏡
This special weekend retreat was built in a small, secluded village in western Poland – for clients from Germany who feel so at home here that it might soon become their permanent residence. 🏡💚
Communication between our clients and our bilingual partner Treetop was seamless throughout the entire design and construction phase.

The unique atmosphere and harmonious interplay of architecture and nature are the result of the collaboration between our Holz100 partner Treetop (building design & construction) and Mindful Architekci (interior design & ex*****on).

Our Holz100 partner builds Thoma houses in the following regions: Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg.

I'm a wooden house through and through. 🙂🌲

Built from 100% moon wood – glue-free, pollutant-free, and with the goal of being a legacy for generations. 🌱👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
This single-family home combines healthy living, longevity, and true sustainability. The special Holz100 construction not only ensures a pleasant indoor climate, but also makes the house demountable and recyclable – a material storage facility for the future. 🔄🏡

Thanks to photovoltaics, a domestic hot water heat pump, and environmentally friendly infrared heating, the energy supply also remains in natural balance. ☀️💧🔥
Designed by our partner Meschenmoser Architektur – a true example of future-proof construction.
