Maylim specialises in high-quality external works, landscaping schemes, and highway and civil engineering projects. Working across both public and private sectors, our integrated approach enables us to be agile and flexible to adapt and deliver anything from small-scale developments and improvements to multi-million-pound projects. Collaborating with some of the UK’s finest architects and developers, Maylim has created many iconic public spaces, from the ongoing redevelopment of the iconic Battersea Power Station to the significant urban regeneration of King's Cross. Arriving in Chesterfield by train? You’ll notice a few changes… 👀

Corporation Street has been transformed, creating a more welcoming gateway for visitors arriving by train.

The improvements include wider pavements, new paving, lighting and street furniture, alongside a new one-way layout to make the street more pedestrian-friendly.

The changes will also create a safer, more attractive space for enjoying Chesterfield after dark, supporting the town’s night-time economy.

The final elements of the scheme are being completed, with the road expected to reopen to traffic in early September.

Every child deserves the chance to live a healthy, happy life.

As a dad, it’s very easy to take for granted the simple things.. seeing your kids healthy, happy and able to get out and enjoy life.

That’s why I’m proud to be supporting Action Medical Research, a charity funding vital medical research to help save and change the lives of babies and children affected by disease and disability.

From the 23rd to 27th of September, I’ll be joining Maylim cycling team to take on what will be undoubtedly be one of the toughest physical challenges I’ve ever attempted.

340 miles (550k) from Bilbao to Madrid over four days, with plenty of Spanish mountains along the way 🚴‍♂️🏔️🇪🇸

Together, with the Maylim team we have raised an incredible £40,800 for Action Medical Research.

There’ll undoubtedly be a few moments over those for days when I’ll be questioning why I signed myself up for this😅, but its a small challenge compared with what many children and their families face every day.

That will certainly put every difficult mile into perspective.

I’m also hugely grateful to my team at T Vaughan Ltd for getting behind me, sponsoring me and supporting me in taking on the challenge.

We were absolutely over the moon to learn that all three of the projects we entered to BALI Awards this year have been winners in their categories. A superb performance all round, an awesome win for three great projects.
