We were featured in The Times last Friday - Our Head of Compliance and Certification, Joe Brennan, walked a Times journalist through a real property assessment. The standard EPC report recommended spending up to £31,000 to reach a C rating. Our MEES assessment found a route to the same result for £5,736.

The article also covers the new Home Energy Model coming in 2027 and why getting a new gas boiler now might be smarter than waiting, and what the 2030 deadline means for landlords with older stock.

We’re pleased to share an update on our work delivering the Warm Homes: Local Grant across Greater Manchester.

With the programme now supporting private rented and private owner-occupied homes across the region, we’ve received our first referrals, with pre-installation inspections and technical surveys underway and installations planned for October.

We’re excited to get started and proud to help more households make their homes warmer, more energy efficient and cheaper to heat.

In June, we partnered with The Mortgage Works to help landlords meet EPC C by 2030. Since then, we've seen strong interest across the industry and media.

Today, we carried out energy efficiency assessments alongside a journalist from the national press. We're proud to help inform and educate landlords, and encouraged to see growing awareness around an issue that affects millions of rental properties.

The new Home Energy Model replaces SAP, and in March 2027, 0% VAT ends on insulation, solar, and heat pumps -reverting to 5%.

Throw in the inevitable demand and supply issues and prices spikes as 2030 approaches, acting now becomes the smart option.

When a customer goes out of their way to email us about a team member, you know you've done something right.
