The Stationers’ Company announced today that it is now open for applications for new Warrants and 2027 Warrant renewals.

These Annual Warrants are formal recognition of the high quality that companies in the Communications and Content Industries put into their products and services, recognising, and acknowledging excellence, with the annual scheme now in its 13th year.

The scheme distinguishes itself by being open to everyone in the Communications and Content industry sectors, both members and non-members of the Stationers’ Company.

The Stationers’ Company confirms a limited number of warrants each year. They are granted based on a set of rigorous criteria including original design and high-quality manufacturing/production techniques, as well as factors such as appropriate and sustainable packaging, and relevance to the industry or market sector; supporting evidence of quality is required.

Applications are reviewed by an eminent panel of Stationers’ Company members, and presentation of new Warrants will take place at a formal luncheon in Stationers’ Hall on 1st March 2027. In 2026, over 180 attended this event, providing additional publicity for the companies involved. The closing date for applications is Friday 20th November 2026.

A fantastic day on the fairway for a great cause!

Yesterday, we welcomed 20 teams (80 golfers) to Chobham Golf Club for the 2026 Stationers’ Foundation Charity Golf Day.

From the first tee to the final putt, it was a day filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughter and the kind of camaraderie that makes this event so special. But beyond the golf, the real purpose was to raise funds for a cause that makes a lasting difference.

The Stationers’ Foundation supports children and young people from less advantaged backgrounds, helping them access educational opportunities, develop their potential and build brighter futures. Every contribution helps create opportunities that can genuinely change the direction of a young person’s life.

Events like this remind us that when our community comes together, we can enjoy a wonderful day while also giving something meaningful back.

A heartfelt thank you to the team whose hard work and dedication made the day possible: Charles Southey, Julia Cole, Karyn Keating, Lewis Bronze MBE and Paddy Byrne.

And to our sponsors, supporters, prize donors and all 80 golfers, thank you for your generosity, enthusiasm and continued support. Your involvement is what makes the Stationers’ Foundation Charity Golf Day such a success.

A brilliant day of golf, a wonderful Stationers’ community and, most importantly, a positive impact beyond the course.

A wonderful afternoon at Stationers’ Hall.

The Master, Ian Leggett, was delighted to host a special Cheese & Wine gathering for a selected group of members, followed by a wonderful Corporate Members’ Garden Party.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make both events such a success.

Our Corporate Members are an important part of the Stationers’ Company, and it was fantastic to bring everyone together, strengthen connections and enjoy some time together in the beautiful Stationers’ Hall Garden.

And of course, a big thank you to everyone involved in organising and hosting such a memorable afternoon.

Stationers’ Company Liveryman Celebrates 600 Years of Stationery in Landmark Book.

Chris Leonard-Morgan-Morgan’s Stationery Icons brings together 100 brands and makers, with contributions from the Stationers’ Company and a foreword by Theo Paphitis.

Stationery Icons, a richly illustrated, 304-page hardback by Christopher Leonard-Morgan, celebrates the people, ideas and businesses behind the tools we use to write, draw, work and create.

Published by Narrative Media and available as a limited first edition, the book traces 600 years of stationery history through 100 brands and makers, exploring how familiar objects became enduring companions in classrooms, studios, offices and homes.

For members of The Stationers' Company, the publication has a particular connection. Leonard-Morgan is a Liveryman of the Company, whose contribution to the book extends beyond its association with the author: the Stationers’ Company supported its development, contributed to its content and features within its pages.

That involvement brings an institutional perspective to a book concerned with both the history and the continuing relevance of stationery. Alongside the stories of individual makers, it recognises the organisations and communities that have sustained the trades of writing, printing and publishing.

Leonard-Morgan, founder of the London International Stationery Show and National Stationery Week, draws on his extensive industry experience and relationships to bring together stories often held separately in company archives, private collections and personal memories. His involvement with the Stationers’ Company adds a further connection between the industry’s heritage and the people shaping its future.

With a foreword by Theo Paphitis, Stationery Icons examines the design, invention, craftsmanship and commercial ambition behind products that have become part of everyday life. It considers why particular tools endure, how manufacturers build trust across generations, and why the physical act of putting pen, pencil or pastel to paper continues to matter.

The book combines historical research with photography and visual storytelling. Readers can discover the origins of familiar brands, explore lesser-known makers and see everyday objects in the context of the cultural and industrial changes that shaped them.

For Narrative Media (Richard Webb), the publication brings an often-overlooked subject into the world of collector-quality illustrated books. Its audience includes stationery enthusiasts, collectors, designers and readers interested in material culture, as well as bookshops, specialist retailers and institutions.

The connection with the Stationers’ Company also makes it a particularly relevant addition to members’ libraries and a distinctive gift for colleagues, clients and others with an interest in the industries the Company represents.

Stationers’ Hall Leads the Way with Installation of Award-Winning FabLittleBag.

Following FabLittleBags success at the 2025 Innovation Excellence Awards, where it was crowned Innovator of the Year, the Stationers’ Company has become the first City of London Livery Company to install the award-winning sustainable product throughout Stationers’ Hall.

The installation marks another milestone for both the Company and FabLittleBag, reinforcing the Stationers’ long-standing commitment to championing innovation that delivers real-world impact.

Designed in the UK, FabLittleBag provides a simple, discreet and environmentally responsible solution for the disposal of period products, helping to reduce plastic pollution while improving inclusivity and hygiene in shared spaces.

By adopting the pioneering system, Stationers’ Hall is setting a powerful example of how historic institutions can embrace practical sustainability and support positive behavioural change. As the first Livery Company to introduce the product, the Stationers continue to demonstrate their role as trailblazers in recognising and adopting innovative ideas that make a meaningful difference.

The installation reflects the spirit of the Innovation Excellence Awards: celebrating British ingenuity, encouraging sustainable thinking and showcasing innovations that have the potential to transform everyday life.
