Our clients opted for aluminium sliding doors with a glass balustrade to frame this stunning view. Our master carpenter built practical storage across the eaves and in the newly formed dormer. The walls are painted in Dulux Goose Down Grey and Brilliant White to give this loft a light and bright feel. We love it!

The rooms upstairs usually get all the attention. Giving the staircase a moment on the grid 🤎

Dark painted spindles, warm carpet and simple wall panelling. Such a lovely combination, especially with the light coming through from above.

When you’re adding another floor, the journey up deserves just as much thought as what’s at the top.

And here’s the room we didn’t show you… 🤍

Tucked into the other side of this loft conversion is this little nursery.

When we shared the main bedroom and ensuite, you might not have guessed there was another whole room up here too.

The sloped ceilings and roof window make it such a cosy little space, while the built-in storage makes use of an area that could have easily gone to waste.

You’d never guess this was the loft.

And that’s probably our favourite thing about this one.

A proper bedroom, a tucked-away dressing area, a full ensuite and still enough room left in the conversion for something else entirely.

We think the best loft conversions are the ones where, once they’re finished, you almost forget you’re standing in what used to be the roof space.

This one has become a whole new floor of the home, and we’re really pleased with how naturally everything fits together.

We’ve deliberately left one room out of these photos though…

There’s a nursery up here too, and we’ll show you that part next 👀

Sage green cabinetry, brass handles, marble-effect worktops and a statement range cooker already giving this space plenty of character, with the large black-framed window adding a great contrast.

We’re currently at plaster finish, so there’s still plenty to do before this one is complete. But you can already start to see how everything is coming together.

We’ll be back for the finished reveal. 👌

Another one nearly finished. 👌

These bespoke eaves cupboards have been built to maximise every bit of available space while keeping the room feeling clean and uncluttered.

It’s always satisfying seeing the final details come together.

Loft Transformation | Project Update 🏡✨

Another milestone complete at our project we have been following.

The bedroom is really starting to come together, with bespoke fitted wardrobes and custom eaves storage now installed throughout the space. Every cabinet has been made to fit the contours of the roof, turning what would have been unused areas into practical, everyday storage.

The mirrored wardrobe doors help maximise the natural light from the Velux window, creating a bright, spacious feel while adding a touch of elegance to the room.

It’s details like these that transform a loft from simply being an extra room into a space that feels like it has always been part of the home.

We’re excited to share the final reveal soon, so keep an eye out for the next update.

Sometimes our work is about so much more than building lofts.

Meet Emma!

One of our longstanding clients experienced every homeowner’s nightmare when a faulty valve on an existing unvented water cylinder in her loft failed, causing extensive flooding throughout her entire home.

The damage affected virtually every room, meaning the property had to be stripped back and restored from the ground up. Our team has been working hard to bring her home back to life, carrying out extensive repairs including replastering throughout, full redecoration, replacing doors, skirting boards, flooring and carpets, installing a new kitchen and appliances, and completing the necessary electrical works.

The damage was so severe that she has been unable to live in her home while the restoration has taken place. That’s why projects like this mean so much to us. It’s not just about construction…it’s about helping people through difficult situations and giving them back a safe, comfortable place to call home.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us, especially during challenging times like these.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we share the transformation and show how we’ve helped turn this house into a home again. ❤️

Not every loft conversion needs an ensuite to add value. This compact loft has transformed previously unused roof space into a bright new room, giving the homeowners the extra space they needed without extending their footprint.

An interesting point on this project is that this road has historically struggled to gain approval for ridge height increases. This application was successfully approved, creating a positive precedent for similar properties in the area.

The details make all the difference. 👌

From the precision-cut tile hanging and leadwork to the newly formed flat roof and rooflight openings, every stage of a loft conversion requires careful planning and expert craftsmanship.

It’s often the work you don’t immediately notice that has the biggest impact on the longevity, weatherproofing, and finish of a project.

Another dormer taking shape and ready for the next phase. 🏠🔨
