Some times roof repairs don’t work!
This H&T Money shop in Birmingham had a leak directly beneath the parapet wall (in the shop window.)
We thought the outlet was blocked and the staining on the felt wall confirmed that, also there was holes on top of the shop sign.
We re-sealed the area in question but unfortunately the leak remained.
On our second visit we hired Pro Jet to jet wash the roof using 1000 litres of water straight from their van. Apart from cleaning the roof ready for the Polyroof Protec System we could also investigate where the roof was failing.
After flooding the shop sign and roof we eventually discovered clean cuts in the felt near the back wall which we think come from recent builders working on the alley way.
We applied the Polyroof Protec System terminated within the wall 25mm and returned on parapet walls now this roof will be water tight for the next 20 years.

This job took just 8 hours for one man to re fit all these ridge tiles on a new vented dry ridge system which helps brings the roof up to current regulations @ Ashtead

This felt roof on one of H&T Money shops was failing at the seams and at the outlet. Now thanks to the Polyroof Protec overlay system this simple roof repair will long out live the rest of the roof. @ Walworth
