I'm a bit obsessed with safe babywearing and zero-bullsh*t marketing, hence our massive, expert-led, carrying-consultant-full photoshoots to ensure we produce the best, most accurate visuals we possibly can, to educate parents and Not Just Sell Carriers. So here's just a few of the Izmi Baby super-crew at the end of a massive, long, amazing 60-person photoshoot last Sunday, ready for some fresh new releases this spring 🤩
Running a business is a whole lotta work - as is having 19 newborn-to-6-yr-olds on one set - but having so many AWESOME, talented people who believe it, support it - and a "co-parent" like the incomparable - makes all things possible and truly joyful. Here's to a helluva 2026 ✨️💪🏼

When it comes to babywearing, there’s no one “right” way but there’s a lot we can learn from each other. This weekend I lucky enough to spend time with expert babywearing educators from across the Netherlands, hosted by , who welcomed us for a brand day with Izmi and - as well as a dive into current conversations on babywearing safety guidance.
Its amazing just how different babywearing cultures can be from country to country - even somewhere so geographically close!. As babywearing professionals, these opportunities to learn from one another are priceless. Continuing our professional development together means we can better support the families we work with, helping them carry comfortably, confidently, and for longer. 💛

In a world where everyone is just making identical cheap Artipoppe dupes and putting up the same ol' adverts onto Insta, it's at least more INTERESTING when a brand comes along showing a baby carrier being worn by a model in their pants, in stiletto mules, on a treadmill.
I literally salute you for a stellar bit of advertising. Truly, genuinely standing out from the crowd. But please change your content settings so I can download this a make a stitch video. If you do, I promise to wear my best pants and highest heels and make a special trip to the gym 🏋️‍♀️

✅️How To Keep Your Baby Safe In Any Baby Carrier, Wrap or Sling ✅️ PLEASE SHARE ❤️

To ensure your baby's airways are clear and open when using a baby carrier, always make sure your baby is:
✅️HIGH enough to easily kiss them
✅️TIGHT, so they can't slump down inside your sling
✅️IN SIGHT. You must be able to see their face.

Temperature control, hip support and many other aspects are helpful and important: but the most vital consideration when it comes to safety is your baby's AIRWAYS.

I've been a Babywearing Consultant for 10 years. I've supported over 10,000 families. I've used 400 baby carriers. I've trained with every baby carrier school in the UK.

And I've recorded 100s hours of educational content about How To Wear Your Baby and had over 400 million video views... but THESE are the most vital safety checks, which I'm taking into the NHS in our babywearing safety workshops. Please share! 🙏

77p for a new baby carrier?!?! Oh FFS, this is getting ridiculous now. Suitable from 0-6 yrs apparently?! I don't know whether to laugh or cry about how appalling and unsafe the carriers on Ali Express and Temu are getting now.

Work wife and me! Emily Rising was one of the very first UK babywearing trailblazers. You won't see her much online as shes not as noisy and videoy as me 😅 and is also busy working as a Lactation Consultant. Most of us babywearing educators in the UK can trace our own training back to Em (though most don't know it!) She was one of the very first to create a proper sling library, in the 00s which is going strong. She is the creator and designer of , which now has me as adopted mum and Em as birth mum 🥰 She's got a big heart and a (terrifyingly) big brain and I'm very lucky to have her is business and in life. Don't risk buying unbranded slings from Temu, please. Nearly 20,000 of these were recently recalled in the US for being a fall hazard (and, if I was in charge, it'd be for mis-selling and lack of safety information too). PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON DODGY INFLUENCER ADS WHEN BUYING A BABY SLING OR CARRIER!
