Finished our dining room table

Had some deck joists left over from building our new roof terrace...turning them into our dining table. Cheap softwood so tried out a new "burning" technique with the blow torch.
I'll post the finished table soon.

Little experiment for the next project....sky table...resin and mica metals in a mould. This one's mini but there may be a much larger version on the way...

Interesting way to make a table a display cabinet! Restored this one from an old jewelery cabinet.
Built a much larger one which eventually became a front of house desk - pictures to come soon
