A first floor extension created a light-filled en suite that received the same level of attention as the rest of the house.

We reimagined the home’s entrance, transforming what was a constrained hallway into something much more generous and usable for our clients.
Through the reconfiguration of the hallway and careful detailing, the new layout has improved the circulation space and created a sense of arrival. The paneling and oversized wood block floor references the arts and crafts style of the original property.

One of the most transformative spaces at our Mill Hill project is the open-plan kitchen and family area. Previously
constrained by a poorly conceived 1990s extension, ROAR opened up the rear of the house to create a generous, light-filled gathering space that connects directly to the garden.

The kitchen developed in collaboration with balances playful design with everyday practicality. Spray-lacquered yellow cabinets echo the chromatic thread from the entrance hall and WC, energising the space and linking it to the wider home. Oak-fronted base units add warmth and grounding, while bullnose worktops and rounded handles continue the language of soft tactility.

The result is a space that is joyful and functional in equal measure a true family hub where bold design elevates daily life.
