Letting the right person in without getting up to check: that's the whole job of a video intercom, and Hikvision's new TalkVu range does it better than anything they've made before.

We've written a plain-English guide to the full series: the 4MP door camera that holds a clear picture at night, the six ways to unlock (face, card, PIN, Bluetooth, QR or app), the 2-wire vs IP wiring decision, and the GDPR points to check before you fit one in the UK.

When distance is the problem, Tiandy makes it irrelevant.

With 63x optical zoom and 360° panoramic coverage, this camera is built to watch the full scene, then lock onto the detail that matters.

From wide-area monitoring to critical close-up evidence, this is surveillance with serious reach.

For installers, commercial sites, councils, warehouses, yards, car parks, and high-security locations, this is the level of coverage that changes the game.

Your security system is only as strong as its last update.

CCTV, alarms, access control and connected devices are not “fit and forget”. Firmware becomes outdated, products reach end-of-life, manufacturers release security notices, and unsupported equipment can quickly become a weak point.

That’s why we regularly update the ERTECH blog with critical security updates, manufacturer notices and practical advice worth knowing.

Installers, businesses and customers should keep an eye on it:

Audit. Update. Maintain. Repeat.

Because outdated security equipment does not just become old.
It can become a liability.

Ajax has just won 8 Red Dot Design Awards, and honestly, it makes sense.

Security products do not have to look boring, cheap, or complicated. Ajax proves that serious alarm, fire, CCTV, and NVR technology can also look sharp, feel premium, and work beautifully.

At ERTECH, this is exactly the kind of tech we like to stand behind: smart, clean, reliable, and built properly.

Award-winning design. Serious security. Very Ajax.

Most cameras show you a shape walking away. You rewind. You squint. You give up.

16MP in 8K. Zoom in days later and still read the number plate, the logo on the jacket, the face.
Hikvision turret. Corrosion-resistant housing. Built to sit outside and keep watching.

Your 2003 door intercom still works. Technically.

The one where “HD” means “I can sort of tell it’s a human.”

KV7 Series - 2MP 145° camera, marine-grade stainless, weather-sealed, vandal-proof. Keypad or buttons, your shout.
Runs on the 2-wire that’s already in the wall.

One camera, two jobs, no nonsense.

The Hikvision TandemVu PTZ combines wide panoramic situational awareness with high-detail PTZ tracking in one unit. That means fewer blind spots, faster identification, and smarter coverage for demanding commercial and industrial installs.

A strong option for perimeter protection, large open areas, site entrances, and active monitoring applications.

One camera body. Two adjustable lenses. One PoE cable.
Because sometimes one camera just is not nosy enough.

This dual-lens setup gives you two independently adjustable views from a single device, all powered and connected through one Ethernet cable via PoE. Less wiring, less hardware, wider coverage, and a much cleaner install.

Perfect for entrances, corners, yards, warehouses, shop fronts, car parks, and anywhere you want to watch two directions without fitting two separate cameras.

Use case: one lens on the gate, one lens on the driveway. One on the till, one on the entrance. One on the stock, one on the staff who swear they “just got here.
