Zminkowska De Boise Architects (also known as ZDB Architects) is a small architectural practice run by partners Hanna Zminkowska and Richard De Boise based in Finsbury Park and Hitchin in north Hertfordshire. We offer services for all types and stages of projects, from alterations and extensions to private houses, to education and arts buildings, from conception to completion. Hanna and Richard are responsible for running all projects and we deliberately maintain a small practice to ensure that we remain the main points of contact throughout the design and construction process. We pride ourselves on clear communication, thoroughness and attention to detail, and the practice has steadily gained a reputation for well considered and imaginative work. Our alterations and extensions to private houses have been twice awarded second prize, and once each shortlisted and longlisted for New London Architecture’s Don’t Move, Improve! Our projects have also been widely published in magazines and newspapers, from TimeOut London to The Times, and on websites, including ArchDaily and Dezeen.
