The power of positive words…

“I can do this.”
“I am capable.”
“I am proud of myself.”
“I am confident in who I am.”

You might think… really? How is saying all this out loud going to change the way I feel? You’re right… they’re not magic words.

You can’t simply repeat something you don’t believe in.

But at Savran, we do believe in becoming the source of your own encouragement.

One of the things we encourage our clients to practice is becoming more aware of their own internal dialogue.

Because the way you speak to yourself matters.

There’s a difference between telling yourself what you wish were true and reminding yourself of what you have good reason to believe.

That’s also why we encourage journalling, particularly gratitude journalling, in many of our coaching sessions.

It gives you an opportunity to recognise things you might otherwise overlook.

And gratitude doesn’t always have to be profound.

“I’m grateful I made time for myself today.”

“I’m proud that I finally had that difficult conversation.”

“I’m pleased I got through a challenging day.”

Small things. Real things. Things that deserve to be acknowledged.

What’s one thing you could give yourself credit for today?

Using AI and knowing how to use AI are two very different things.

A little look back at our last AI Training session.

It was a brilliant day, with fantastic engagement and feedback from everyone who attended. But it also reinforced something we’re seeing more and more in the workplace.

Most of us are already using AI.

We use it to draft an email, summarise something, generate ideas, research a topic or simply make an everyday task a little quicker.

But the AI landscape is developing far quicker than most realise. And there can be a significant gap between using these tools and understanding what they are actually capable of doing for you and your business.

That is where training becomes valuable.

It’s about moving beyond the obvious uses and understanding how to prompt more effectively, research more deeply, analyse information, work with data, create repeatable workflows and use the more advanced capabilities that can genuinely change how you work.

Our last session was dedicated to Claude. This time, we’re turning our attention to ChatGPT and exploring how to use it as a much more powerful business tool.

Our next ChatGPT Business AI Training takes place:

2 December 2026
10am–5pm
London
£450 + VAT per participant

It’s practical, hands-on and designed for business owners and professionals who want to understand how to get far more value from the AI they may already be using every day.

You can attend individually or bring a colleague and take the learning back into your business.

And if someone in your network is constantly saying, “I know I should be doing more with AI…”, please share this with them.

AI is evolving quickly. Our understanding of how to use it needs to evolve with it.

Some of the most important time you spend with your child probably won’t feel important while it’s happening.

The drive to get a hot chocolate.

Your Sunday morning breakfast.

A walk where they unexpectedly start talking.

The silly tradition your family has done for years.

A regular one-to-one date where, for an hour, they know they have your full attention.

These moments can seem small, but research into family routines and rituals tells us something important: repeated moments of connection can help strengthen family relationships and contribute to children’s wellbeing and adjustment.

In fact, psychologists have recommended creating regular one-to-one “special time” with each child, focused simply on giving them positive attention and being present with them.

This is something we reinforce with parents during our family coaching sessions at Savran.

Create the moments intentionally.

Have a regular one-to-one date with each child.

Create family traditions that belong to your family.

Protect a meal together.

Go for the same Sunday walk.

Have the bedtime conversation, even when you’re tired.

It doesn’t need to be expensive, elaborate or Instagram-worthy.

What matters is the consistency.

Because family rituals do something quite powerful. Over time, they stop being simply things you do and start communicating:

“This is us.”
“This is our time.”
“You matter enough for me to protect this time with you.”

And as children grow, the way they need us changes.

They may stop reaching for our hand. They may spend more time with friends. The conversations change. Their independence grows.

That’s exactly why we encourage parents not to wait for connection to happen accidentally.

Put it in the diary. Protect it. Make it yours.

One of the most valuable investments you can make in your relationship with your child may simply be giving them something increasingly difficult to replace:

your undivided time.

What is one tradition or one-to-one ritual your child will always associate with you?

A room full of women who understand what it really means to be the person others turn to when things get difficult.

We were incredibly proud to see our CEO and Principal Coach, Rita Chowdhry, invited as a panellist at the third and final She Table of 2026, hosted by Log my Care at Home House.

Bringing together 30 senior women from across social care, the afternoon centred around a conversation that every leader can relate to:

The hard calls in a crisis – what happens when things go wrong and you’re the person in charge?

It’s a subject Rita knows well. Across her own leadership journey, and through decades of coaching senior leaders and organisations, she has seen first-hand the pressure, responsibility and often very human reality behind making difficult decisions.

Savran being so deeply rooted into the social care sector and the many challenges this industry faces, we are proud to witness experienced women speaking openly about the decisions they’ve faced, the lessons they’ve learned and what leadership really looks like when circumstances become difficult.

Rita joined a brilliant panel alongside Heeral Shah, Daniella Rubio and Seema Katrina Chopra Sharma, with Lizzie Lee leading the conversation.

One of the biggest reminders from the afternoon?

Leadership at the top doesn’t have to be lonely.

There is enormous value in creating spaces where senior women can put titles aside, share experiences honestly and learn from one another.

A huge thank you to Log my Care and She Table for inviting Rita to be part of such an important conversation – and to everyone around the table who contributed so openly.

A brilliant way to close out She Table for 2026.

One of the most beautiful things in a relationship is to be genuinely proud of the person beside you.

After winning the men’s doubles title at Wimbledon, Henry Patten was asked why his fiancée, Dr Ellie Stone, wasn’t there to watch one of the biggest moments of his career.

“I hit a yellow tennis ball and she saves lives.”

It’s a remarkable response, and most may mistaken it for being a comparison between their careers.

No…that is what you call admiration.

Here is a man standing at Wimbledon with a trophy in his hands, experiencing an extraordinary achievement of his own, and still finding space in that moment to publicly recognise how hard his wife works and how proud he is of her.

There’s something important in that for all of us.

A healthy relationship shouldn’t require one person’s dreams to become smaller so the other person’s can become bigger.

You can both have goals. You can both work incredibly hard. You can both have moments when your career, responsibilities or ambitions demand more of you.

And sometimes, you simply won’t be able to physically show up for every milestone.

Support isn’t only measured by how many times people show up. It’s knowing they’re always behind you, no matter the circumstance.

It’s respecting what matters to them, as much as you want them to respect what matters to you.

It’s celebrating their ambition without feeling threatened by it.

And it’s being able to stand proudly in your own moment of success and still say:

“Look at what my partner is doing. I’m proud of them too.”

That is admiration… That is love.

Healthy relationships are about respecting who you both are becoming, championing what matters and allowing each other the space to grow.

Sometimes you’ll celebrate side by side. Sometimes you’ll celebrate from a distance.

The important thing is that you never stop celebrating each other.

An egg, perfectly balanced.

This was an iconic moment captured by our CEO, Principal Coach, Rita Chowdhry, one of the greatest driving forces behind our SheSavvi Retreats.

Looking back at this photograph feels particularly fitting because balance has been such an important part of Rita’s own SheSavvi journey.

Through years of retreats, physical challenges, reflection and personal growth, one thing has become increasingly clear: balance isn’t about somehow managing to do everything, for everyone, all of the time.

It’s about recognising when you need to take care of yourself too.

There is one phrase Rita famously shares with our Savvi Sisters on every retreat:

“Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.”

It comes from the safety guidance we’re given when we fly. In an emergency, we’re instructed to secure our own oxygen mask before helping someone else with theirs.

There is a reason for that.

It isn’t about saving yourself and forgetting everyone else. It’s about making sure you’re able to breathe, so you have the strength and capacity to support those around you.

And perhaps there is no better metaphor for the many roles women balance every day.

Mother. Partner. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Colleague. Leader. Caregiver.

The Savvi Sisterhood has reinforced something we remind our women of time and time again:

Self-love is not selfish.

Balance doesn’t mean giving every part of your life an equal amount of yourself. Sometimes it means recognising that you need to be put back into the equation.

That is what our SheSavvi Retreats create space for.

Alongside fellow coach and facilitator Leah Chowdhry, Rita brings our Savvi Sisters together to step away from the roles and responsibilities they carry every day. To strengthen their bodies, challenge their minds, reflect, reset, connect and invest some time back into themselves.

Because perhaps the secret to balance isn’t learning how to carry more.
It’s learning when to put something down, take a breath and put your own oxygen mask on first.

Are you really using ChatGPT to its full potential?

Most people have used ChatGPT.

They’ve asked it to write an email, summarise a document, generate some ideas or answer a question.

But that’s only scratching the surface of what it can do.

When you understand how to use AI properly, it can become a powerful everyday business tool. From deep research and data analysis to Projects, Custom GPTs, AI agents, automation and multimodal tools, there is so much more capability sitting behind the chat box.

Our ChatGPT Business AI Training is designed to help you understand those capabilities and, more importantly, learn how to apply them practically to the way you work.

It’s a full day of hands-on training, designed for business owners and professionals who want to work smarter, save time and get significantly more value from AI.

No previous AI expertise needed. Just bring your laptop, your questions and some of the real business challenges you’d like AI to help you solve.

The SheSavvi Retreat is so much more than a retreat.

Looking back at some of these moments reminds us just how special this journey has become.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of bringing together some truly incredible women. Strong women. Determined women. Women who are always ready to invest in themselves, their health, their goals and their own becoming.

But perhaps the most beautiful part is what happened after the retreat.

These women became our beloved Savvi Sisters.

A close circle of sisters who support one another, celebrate each other’s wins, hold each other accountable and, when needed, remind each other of the promises we made to ourselves.

Because taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.

Making time for your health matters.
Prioritising your wellbeing matters.
Having goals that belong to you matters.
And surrounding yourself with women who genuinely want to see you thrive matters too.

We’ve laughed together, challenged ourselves, stepped outside our comfort zones and formed friendships and bonds that have continued long after the suitcases were unpacked.

That is what the SheSavvi Retreat has evolved into.

A retreat may last a few days. Sisterhood can last a lifetime.

And as we look towards 2027, we’re beginning to think about where our next SheSavvi Retreat adventure might take us...

If you’d like to join our sisterhood for your health and soul, our waitlist is open. DM for more details ☺️🧘‍♀️

IF NOT ME, THEN WHO?

There comes a point when you have to stop waiting.

Waiting for the right time.
Waiting for someone else to make the decision.
Waiting to feel completely ready.
Waiting for the perfect opportunity to appear.

Because while we can’t control everything that happens around us, we can take ownership of what happens **next**.

Your choices.
Your habits.
Your boundaries.
Your goals.
Your effort.
Your response when things don’t go to plan.

You are the architect of your own design.

And that means recognising that the life you want isn’t only built through the big, courageous decisions.

It’s built through the small choices you make repeatedly when nobody is watching.

Getting started when motivation isn’t there.

Following through on what you said you would do.

Changing a habit that no longer serves you.

Having the conversation you’ve been avoiding.

Trying again when something hasn’t worked.

Choosing differently when the old way keeps giving you the same result.

You already have more capacity than you sometimes give yourself credit for.

The intelligence to learn.
The courage to make difficult choices.
The determination to keep going.
The self-awareness to change direction.
And the willpower to begin again.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you take responsibility for where you’re going.

Start with the next choice.

Because if you keep waiting for someone else to create the change you want...

If not you, then who?

At Savran, we believe that meaningful coaching starts with one thing:
helping people recognise what they are capable of.

This year, our COO, Coach and Youth Development Expert, Leah Chowdhry MBE, has embodied that belief in an extraordinary way.

At the beginning of the academic year, Leah set herself an ambitious goal: to inspire 20,000 young people.

Since then, she has visited 73 schools across the UK and spoken to 19,683 students about mindset, resilience, purpose and developing an “I can” attitude.

Behind those numbers is something much more important.

Thousands of young people have been encouraged to think differently about themselves, their potential and the challenges they may face.

Leah’s own journey has shaped much of that message. From swimming the English Channel to running the London Marathon and taking on major fundraising challenges, she has experienced first-hand what can happen when purpose becomes stronger than fear.

Her message to young people is simple, but powerful:

Know your why.
Believe in yourself.
Develop an “I can” attitude.

It reflects so much of what we stand for at Savran.

Coaching is not about telling someone who they should become. It is about helping them recognise the strengths, possibilities and potential that already exist within them.

We are incredibly proud of the impact Leah has made this year, but perhaps the most powerful part of her work is that she does not want students to leave remembering her story.

She wants them to leave believing in their own.

As we begin the 2026/27 academic year, we are excited to continue expanding our work with young people, schools, families and educational organisations through coaching, workshops and youth development programmes.

Because sometimes, changing the direction of a young person’s life can begin with two very simple words:

“I can.”
