Thoughts on the draw…

We love all things chimneys and fireplaces, so we’re always excited to come across something a little different!

One of our customers has built this beautiful fireplace in his own garden and we have to say, we’re seriously impressed!

We might just have to offer him a job! 😂

What’s going on here…

From start to finish!

What a transformation! We’ve given this old open fireplace a new lease of life with a stunning Stovax Stockton 5 stove and a brand-new hearth, with matching slips.

A beautiful upgrade that completely transforms the space!

What do you think of the finished result?

One of our first jobs of the day… and this is what came out!

Following a recent chimney fire, look at what we removed during the sweep!

It’s a stark reminder of why we recommend having your chimney swept at least once a year. Regular sweeping helps remove soot and creosote build-up, reducing the risk of a chimney fire.

So, how long do you think it had been since this chimney was last swept?

No ladders or steps allowed on this site… so first it’s a scramble to find a podium, then a trip in the lift every time we change floors. At least the lift operator keeps us entertained 😂

“We’ve only had 3 fires “

Over 100 metres of flue pipe installed in the past week 😅

It’s a huge site — I averaged over 15,000 steps and 61 flights of stairs a day!

It certainly had its ups and downs, but I’m so proud of the team for getting the work completed ahead of schedule 👏

When we started, I couldn’t wait to get out of this place, but we’ve become quite attached to it… apart from the canteen 😂

Leave as is or fit a closure plate?

All the gear and no idea 😂
