My latest project completed last week in the Roath area of Cardiff.
Other stone firms didn’t want to know because the stone was so badly damaged/corroded.
I managed to save this property and bring it back to its original condition ⚒️

It was an absolute pleasure, such a nice, kind couple, I’m so glad they are happy with the end result.

Cowbridge Stones latest project completed last week in Grangetown (Cardiff) ⚒️

A full bathstone restoration.
Paint removal from brick work.
Cut out and repoint using a lime black mortar.
Insuring the building can breathe.

Two projects completed last week ⚒️
First one was in Michaelston le pit (Dinas Powys) second one was in Swansea.





Any one looking at getting their property restored, PLEASE make sure it’s done with lime!
Seen two jobs today and both were pointed in cement, trapping the moisture in. Both properties were done over three years ago and are both showing signs of serious damp.
Do you research, not all stone firms are using lime.⚒️

Cowbridge stones latest project ⚒️
Riverside Cardiff.

Full paint strip, bathstone restoration, brick acid wash,cut out and repoint in a lime black mortar, resealed all windows in white mastic.







This customer was a chef back in his day and we never went hungry, some of the nicest Indian food I’ve ever had. Thank you 🙏

Finally finished this huge project today in Pontypridd . Starting at 6.30am every day.
4 week project ⚒️






19 drums of paint stripper, 3 drums of brick acid,40 cutting blades!
2 tons of fat lime (London)16 tubes of sealant.
The customer was absolutely amazing,made us breakfast and dinner every single day. It was a pleasure. On to the next big project in a few weeks 🥵⚒️

This project was completed over Christmas and New Year. A huge building next to Cardiff museum.Every single inch of this building was filled over with bathstone premix!
It took 3 men weeks to cut through it. 9 bags of premix was needed and over 50 8grit carbon pads.
A few more big projects have been completed, waiting for scaffolding to come down ⚒️

Love this, Clever idea

This 350 year-old stone house in Ambleside was cleverly built directly on top of a bridge to avoid paying land tax.

It was originally an apple store for their nearby orchards and a way to cross the stream (Stock Beck) to reach their land.
