Progress continues at Les Ozouets, with works advancing across the main building, PAC Building, Construction Building and external areas.
Within the main building, the final section of parapet adjacent to the PAC Building is nearing completion, while window frames continue to be installed to the south and east elevations. Steel encasement also remains ongoing on the second floor.
Internally, partition installation and jointing continue across the ground, first and second floors. M&E first-fix works have commenced, with pipework being installed on the first and second floors and MVHR ductwork starting within a number of units. Plantroom blockwork has also been painted ahead of M&E installation.
Works continue at the PAC junction, including fibreglass drainage installation, while protection tape is being removed from external windows on the north elevation.
Within the PAC Building, damp and suspected mould remain evident on sections of the temporary hoarding, with replacement boards now on order. Discussions are also progressing around breaking into the final sections, with the programme to be agreed.
The Construction Building continues to progress, with the second VPL layer being installed as part of the roof works. Fire protection boarding, SFS framework and external CP boarding continue, while window framing has now commenced.
Externally, reinforcement is being prepared for the next section of the east-side retaining wall. The first external slab to the east of the Construction Building has been poured, while works continue to the main car park and Motorcycle Bay.
BAQUS is pleased to continue supporting the coordinated delivery of this important project.
