This bathroom Refurbishment was a case of out with the old in with the new.
The clients opted to have a shower only and do away with there bath as this was very rarely used.
This would give them more space in what was a congested area and layout.
The clients chose all there fixtures and fittings and wanted a wood effect theme with black being the main colour in design.

The bathroom itself had some hidden issues and once the difficult stripout was complete this become evident.
The timber walls were twisted and had very little strength and the floor was over 40mm out of level so we had to make this right before we could begin installing the new sub floor and plasterboarding the walls.
All plumbing was replaced and both the sink and toilet were relocated.

This was the extent of the damage.
The bathroom was completely stripped ,Sub floor removed and the Room had to be left to dry out thoroughly before repair work began.
The radiator was removed in the hallway and all water damaged plasterboard was cut out and replaced before making good.
The damaged metalwork in the wall was replaced,The floor was replaced and a waterproof membrane installed along with all new wall insulation.

Part.1

This bathroom Refurb was for a Family Member of ours whos been struggling with some damp issues throughout there flat.
Once we started the stripout we soon realised where the issue was.
This was the worst water damage weve come across,The bottom of the bath was broken and the silicone sealant around the bath had completely failed resulting in water running under the floor into multiple rooms and rising up the walls through the plasterboard.
This leak had been ongoing for months potentially years and had actually corroded the metal track and studs of the wall itself.
First job was to resolve this issue and replace everything that was damaged while allowing the room to dry out.

Here we Transformed this Dated bathroom giving it a Modern style design and utilised the space to accomodate a larger shower area aswell as creating storage space which it didnt have originally.

The Finish 🏁
Job Complete.
So after about 20 months we Finally got this Amazing house over the line....and what a Magical transformation it was.
To be honest There was times when we could'nt see the end of this one,Having only 4 men on site for the majority of this build it was a huge challenge to say the least.

Just like the rest and as always,I think its safe to say this was completed to the highest standard ☆☆☆☆☆

Phase 1. Strip out

Similar to our last posts this build was for the same Client again.
Located directly next door to the new build which was built for the Daughter we now started this project for the son.

Transforming this 3/4 bed,1 ensuite,1 Family bathroom bungalow into a 5 bed,2 ensuite,2 bathroom house with a large utility area,2 WC's and games room.

Only the external walls survived this demolition.
This was by far the most extensive renovation weve been involved with in regard to the extent of work needed and taken on by ourselves.

Working on both the interior and external side of the build,From installing the under floor heating pipework to fitting the solar panels and all windows and doors.....This was a great project to be involved in and as usual a high spec finish was required ☆☆☆☆☆
