It may be grey and rainy out but the sunny afternoons and long evenings will be with us before you know it!

Last summer we were challenged with securing the boundary of this garden in Surrey which already had an existing chestnut post and rail fence.

The brief- keep the dog in and the deer out.

With a thoughtful approach we designed a post extension which would tie in beautifully to the existing structure without any visible fixings.

With complete trust from the clients we were given the go ahead. By adding a small section of post and an additional chestnut rail we were able to increase the height of the fence without compromising on its soft natural look. Given some time and exposure to the elements, the chestnut is silvering beautifully and the clients couldn’t be happier.

It’s these details which make all the difference and it’s why top quality landscaping is worth the investment.
