A Remarkable Legacy Since 1976 ✨
What started in 1976 through the vision, dedication, and hard work of John Huckins has grown into a proud and enduring business legacy.
Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of Roger Huckins, carrying forward the same values of quality, integrity, and commitment that have been the foundation of our success for nearly 50 years.
We are grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated team, and supportive community who have been part of this journey. Your trust and support have made this achievement possible.
Here's to celebrating our history, honouring those who built it, and looking forward to the future with confidence and pride.

We may have been in Romford for 37 years, but did you know John Huckins actually started J A Huckins from his home in 1976?

When the Romford shop you know and love opened in 1988, Roger joined the family, and when John retired in 2012, Roger took over completely.

Nearly 50 years later, we're renowned for good workmanship, quality equipment and excellent customer service.

If you're looking for a new bathroom, cloakroom or shower room, come and visit our Romford showroom, where our friendly team can show you what's on offer.

We recommend booking an appointment in advance which you can do on 01708 722605.

When it comes to redesigning your bathroom, the little details can have just as much of an impact as a whole new suite.

Every aspect of your bathroom can be chosen by you, whether that's the radiator, the hooks you hang your towels on or the flush plates for your toilet.

We personally think these flush plates from Coalbrook UK elevate the overall look of your bathroom immediately.

What would you choose: gold, gunmetal or silver?

Throwback to this transformation from bath to shower 🚿

We're seeing this a lot at the moment. Some people want to create more space, whilst others require a more accessible bathroom. Or there's simply a preference for a shower instead of a bath.

Whatever the reason, we have all shapes and sizes to match your design and budget: bath shower mixers, rain showers, hand held showers and complete shower systems.

Visit our Romford showroom to find your perfect shower.

We recommend booking an appointment on 01708 722605 to guarantee one of our advisors will be available for you.

Who knew baths were so beneficial? 🛁

The latest research shows that baths are not only great for unwinding and soaking away the stresses of the day, but they can also play an important role in boosting your immune system, help skin conditions like eczema and even alleviate serious medical disorders.

We have free-standing baths, corner baths, shower baths, steel baths, cast-iron baths, traditional baths, modern baths, spa baths, whirlpool baths, baths with ambient lighting, easy access baths, small baths, large baths, oval baths, slipper baths and double-ended baths.

We personally love this elegant one from Laufen UK and Ireland.

Find your perfect bath at our Romford showroom. Give us a call on 01708 722605 to book your appointment today.
