After 4 weeks of early starts and late finishes, we’re in the final week on site at Wood Street EC2 .
This is the 4th floor in this building that we have redesigned and refurbished for the client.
All hands on deck as handover approaches the end of this phased “in occupation” . Included within the works were the refurbishment of the main kitchen area and meeting room facilities.

Blue Fig has completed our latest office refurbishment project for our new client VISTRA in .
Final IT install, unpacking of crates and furniture moves taking place this weekend in readiness for being operational from Monday.
This project was secured - as with the majority of our work- following a to the client and on the back of a Cat A refurbishment for the Landlord.
Blue Fig oversaw the strip out of glazed and solid partitions, replacement flooring, electrical and structured cabling , decorations, space planning and design, design and installation of the new kitchen and the .

We’re all grown up!! 📣

This year (well, last month to be honest but we were so busy on sites that it skipped me by) marks Blue Fig’s 18th Birthday !!!🎂🎊🎈🎉

I can’t quite believe that it was back in 2007 that I ventured out on my own into the office design and fit out industry - “can’t be hard” I remember telling myself……. I’ve learnt a lot of lessons working for myself that I don’t think I would have learnt working for someone else and while great highs are still sometimes very quickly followed by great lows, I can genuinely say I wouldn’t have had or have it any other way.

I got to drop the kids off at nursery and then primary school, went to all their assemblies and plays, had breakfast with them, spent time at home with all my family and get the work/ life balance just right.

Thank you to all the amazing clients, designers,consultants, sub- contractors , suppliers and freinds that have been on this rollercoaster with me but especially to my amazing supportive wife Beth Cox who was there from the beginning that drunken evening in Greece when the Blue Fig name was finally agreed on, and who has kept me upbeat when times were challenging and grounded when I got too excited and who, above all, encouraged me to “keep on keeping on”🎵

Blue Fig are pleased to announce our appointment for the design and fit out of circa 17,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space for a new client in in the aeronautical industry.
Works are due to commence on site in 2 weeks time and include the installation of a new mezzanine floor, new office and meeting spaces, new break out and canteen facilities, furniture provision etc
