Just received my periodic inspections labels from I probably should have paid a bit more for their design service and get something as sexy as they showcase on the gram.

Nevertheless I'm pretty happy it does the job can't wait to indiscriminately place these around people's houses. 1 on the fridge and another on the toaster.

I call this a lash and dash. Others may call it bodge it and scarper.

Recent install I came across in an Eicr.

Supplies kitchen sockets and hob

A kitchen rewire. Walls look like braille. finish is sooo rough. Anyway had to C2 as sockets could be used to supply equipment for the garden.

Today's graft for a lovely hospitable couple. master bedroom with only 2 sockets in the oddest places. They wanted more sockets in the bedroom especially beside the bed.
Needless to say got it done.

I normally use a dust sheet (fabric one on top). But picked up a great tip from polythene dust sheet I taped the edges so clean up was roll up and put in rubble sack. You saved me some time here mate for sure

The client was delighted and gave me a on top of my quote. I don't drink in that sense but I'll smash a ribena. Always love extra cash I wasn't expecting

All round nice Saturday no stress straight forward.

Client in this property moved in and didn't have an electrical inspection done. They've been living there around 15 years.

At first glance all seems well but if you look closely there's no earthing conductor.

Ze was 9 ohms may days (d 'you get it omd) anyway moving swiftly on. The earth was actually through the gas pipe as water in recent year converted to plastic.

I got straight onto and they arranged an inspection.

They came about a week later and fixed the TN-S and now have a health reading of 0.29. All is well now I can crack on with the customers home improvements
