A recent littel job turning am electric box cover into a mini dresser, to cut back on material costs I used an old solid wood worktop that was being thrown away. After running the materials through the table saw and planer thicknesser to size it was a simple job of screwing it all together. Running a palm router around all edges gave a really crisp finish.

Custom built gates, replacing the old, rotten, falling apart originals.
Made with fully treated timber, after cutting I treated the end grain.
With glued and screwed tenon joints on the frame and a top rail custom made to match the old one. I tried a method I had seen online for hiding the screws (as demonstrated in the last photos) to fix it to the gates.
