Another successful award night, this time at AHEAD Europe 2023 awards sponsored by Sleeper Magazine.

1 Hotel Mayfair picked up two awards, one for the winning restaurant Dovetale and the other for the winning bar, Dover Yard categories. A huge congratulations to all involved including Crosstree Real Estate, GA. Group, Studio Moren, Dion & Arles and many more.

Fabulous evening put on by Sleeper Magazine, or should we say bellissimo.

As you can see Laurence and Jonathan thoroughly enjoyed the evening's celebrations.

First built in the 1400's, Hedwig's Club was originally a church belonging to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. It's wonderful to be a part of preserving history so rich such as this incredible building. Celebrating what has been, yet giving it a modern touch to be enjoyed by the generations to come.

The Brit List Awards 2023 have announced their shortlist for Lighting Scheme of the Year and were honoured to say Stradom House is on the list.

A huge congratulations to all those involved in transforming Stradom House, it’s been a wonderful experience working with you all and incredible to be receiving this level of recognition. This project is so deserving to be shortlisted for the creativity used in blending the old and new, and celebrating yet protecting the history of the building while embracing modernity, too.

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal—a luxury beach resort set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with spectacular views of the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

We carried the Venetian inspired theme used in the architecture through both the interior and external lighting. The highly decorative façade has been illuminated in a way that's sympathetic to the architecture, highlighting intricate details and making them come alive at night. Working with Venetian artists we custom designed the streetlights made from cast iron with the light source concealed.

Custom made Murano glass fixtures were installed throughout. The stunning interiors showcase large double height ceilings with bespoke chandeliers to enhance the sheer scale and grandeur of this hotel.

5 years in the making, this labour of love was an unforgettable experience for us. With innovative solutions we were able to keep light fittings to a minimum across the hotel and maximise how every lumen was used.

1 Hotel Mayfair is a truly exceptional example of how luxury can be achieved in a sustainable way. With 50% less energy used than the standard UK hotel, we hope this project inspires others to embrace more planet-friendly lighting.

A look back at Visual Energy’s collaboration with Lynne Hunt on the beautiful refurbishment of the Hyatt Regency Cologne, completed in 2016.

The lobby boasts beautiful refreshing natural daylight with a stunning glass façade and spectacular views across the Rhine river to the Gothic Cologne Cathedral. Warmth, comfort, and simplicity at the heart of this fantastic project.

An awe inspiring Olympic-sized infinity pool with idyllic views of the bay of Kotor on the Adriatic coast, this project is truly stunning.

The sculpture by the pool—artist Jaume Plensa—of a man made of letters is uniquely lit internally displaying the beautiful form and contrast.

The iconic Majlis Oman set within the magnificent and dramatic backdrop of the jebels.

We commissioned 5,000 custom-made LED fittings for this project to create a uniform wash of light over the building with minimal glare.

The highly engineered local stonework is uplit to create drama, precisely locating light fittings to ensure the amazing texture and shadow gaps are experienced both up close and from a great distance.
