🛁 Bespoke Victorian Roll Top Bath Installation Completed in Brentwood

This was one of those projects where no two stages were straightforward—but they’re often the most rewarding.

Our customer had always wanted an original Victorian steel roll top bath, so we worked together from the initial planning right through to the finished installation to make sure it was exactly how she imagined.

This bespoke installation involved:
✔️ Relocating the toilet to create the perfect layout.
✔️ Coring a new hole through the wall for the revised pipework.
✔️ Installing new hot and cold copper pipework through the floor for the freestanding bath taps.
✔️ Overcoming oversized tap holes that required bespoke plumbing solutions.
✔️ Carefully manoeuvring the extremely heavy bath into position using specialist equipment.

The finished result is a beautiful centrepiece that combines the character of a traditional Victorian bath with reliable modern plumbing.

Challenge: Customer called about water damage showing on the wall and ceiling below an upstairs shower. The source was not obvious from downstairs, so the tray and enclosure needed checking before more damage spread.

Solution: Investigated the shower tray and found the existing silicone had failed and pulled away from the tray, letting water escape during use. Fully removed the old sealant, cleaned the area back properly, then re-applied fresh white silicone around the tray and a beige vertical corner seal to colour-match the tiles.
