3 hours sleep doesn’t affect me… I’m absolutely fine 😭😂

Just another normal morning in the life of a builder.

Early starts, late finishes, running on caffeine and somehow convincing yourself you’re fully functioning… until you realise you’ve just been washing your face in the toilet instead of the basin 💀🚽

If you work in construction, you already know the routine. Alarm goes off far too early, straight to site, grab a coffee on the way and hope your brain decides to turn up at some point before lunch.

Who needs 8 hours sleep anyway? 😂

🏡 Full 3 Bedroom House Renovation — Complete Transformation

Another full house renovation completed, transforming this three-bedroom property into a fresh, modern home from top to bottom. 🔨✨

This project involved a complete refurbishment throughout, with a brand-new kitchen, new bathroom, renovated bedrooms and new herringbone flooring bringing the whole property together.

The new kitchen has been completely transformed into a clean, modern space with updated cabinetry, worktops, appliances, lighting and finishes. The bathroom has also undergone a full renovation, creating a much more modern and practical space with new sanitaryware, tiling and fixtures.

Throughout the rest of the property, all three bedrooms have been fully renovated and redecorated, while the new herringbone flooring adds warmth and character and gives the house a consistent high-end finish.

🏠🔨 LOFT CONVERSION PROGRESS UPDATE

A quick site walkthrough showing the latest progress on this loft conversion project, with the external walls now built up to joist level and the new loft space starting to take shape.

At this stage of the build, you can really begin to see the size and layout of the new floor coming together. The external masonry walls have been built up ready for the next stages of the loft construction, as we continue working towards forming the new floor structure, roof and internal spaces.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but getting to this point is a major step in transforming the existing property and creating valuable additional living space.

Loft conversions are a great way of maximising the space already available within a property — whether that means creating an additional bedroom, bathroom, home office or a completely new master suite.

We’ll be sharing more loft conversion updates as the structural work progresses and the transformation really starts to take shape. 🔨🏡

🏡 NEW KITCHEN RENOVATION | RAINHAM 🔨✨

Another huge transformation taking shape on our latest full house refurbishment project in Rainham! This brand-new kitchen forms part of a much larger 3-bedroom property renovation, with the whole house being completely refurbished and given a fresh new look from top to bottom.

For the new kitchen we’ve gone for a clean, modern finish while keeping the space practical and functional for everyday living. The renovation features a completely new fitted kitchen, integrated oven and microwave, modern cabinetry and worktops, finished off with herringbone wood-effect floor tiles running through the space. The herringbone layout gives the appearance and warmth of a timber floor while providing the durability and easy maintenance of porcelain tiles — perfect for a busy kitchen.

There’s still more to come across this property, but seeing rooms like this come together is what makes a full house renovation so satisfying. From the original dated interior to a completely refreshed modern home, every stage makes a huge difference.

🏠 Hip-to-gable loft conversion progress!

Big progress on this hip-to-gable loft conversion as we move another step closer to transforming this roof space into a completely new living area.

The main loft conversion shell is now built, with the roof structure formed, breathable membrane and battens installed, roof tiling progressing and the new internal space taking shape. Inside, the plasterboarding and plastering are now complete, giving a much better idea of just how much extra space this conversion has created. 🔨🏗️

There’s still plenty to come — new windows, second-fix carpentry, electrics, plumbing, flooring, decorating and the rest of the internal finishes before we can call this one complete.

Hip-to-gable conversions are a great way of maximising the usable space in an existing roof, turning what was once wasted loft space into a proper additional floor of the home.

From structural alterations and roofing through to plastering and internal finishing, it’s great seeing all the different stages of this project come together.

Next update should see this loft conversion looking a lot closer to the finished article 👀

Me cooking the SECOND I get home from work because if I sit down, it’s game over 😭😂

After a full day on site, covered in dust, running on caffeine and bad decisions… somehow I’ve still got to become Gordon Ramsay at 7pm. 👷‍♂️🍳

Every tradesman knows the rule: boots off, food on, DO NOT touch the sofa. Sit down for “5 minutes” and you’re waking up two hours later wondering what day it is. 😂

Just another day of construction life — graft all day, cook all night, then do it all again tomorrow. 🔨
