The collapsing bunk beds starring in Peter Pan Goes Wrong, the pneumatically controlled bed in Mad World My Masters, levitating ship in the Odyssey, the bespoke pivoting desk and furniture pile with flip out target on Dear Lupin were all built by The Scenery Shop. Longborough Festival Opera has an entire season with many bespoke pieces of engineering built by The Scenery Shop. The large automated
disc which trucks around and flips up into a vertical position for the production of Siegfried remains a part of the annual season and is a testament to the durability and clever engineering that we produce. This year we have been working for the Royal Horticultural Society at their summer shows, Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park. We have built a number of large scale touring productions including The Cherry Orchard for Headlong, Eternal Love and Anne Boleyn for English Touring Theatre and The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple for JASS Productions. The Scenery Shop has also built for Hull Truck Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, the Park Theatre, the Arcola and the Finborough Theatre to name a few. We build for the very large, the very small and everywhere in between. No matter what the size of the challenge, design or budget, The Scenery Shop is the best place to ask.
