Today we’re giving Archie, our 18-year-old apprentice, a proper rundown on contactors—how they’re wired, what they’re used for and how they control larger electrical loads.

Just as importantly, we’re covering safe isolation, proving dead and the precautions required when working near live panels. It’s great to see him learning, asking questions and building his knowledge on the job. ⚡️🔧

A real humbling moment for us at TPW.

There’s something pretty special about coming back to a venue we worked on a few months ago and seeing it now fully finished, alive and ready to go.

When you’re in the middle of the job, you don’t always get chance to take it all in — so seeing the finished result and knowing we played a part in bringing it together is a great feeling.

Now hiring - Restaurant Caretaker

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Restaurant Caretaker to help keep the restaurant premises and grounds clean, safe, secure and well maintained. Working hours will be 7am - 10am working Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Open and unlock the gates and restaurant premises
- Carry out general upkeep of the restaurant grounds, entrances and patios
- Complete basic maintenance and minor repairs where appropriate
- Watering of plants in outdoor areas

Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Practical and confident in carrying out general maintenance tasks
- Organised and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to provide references
