What goes up… must come down.
We recently dismantled Roehampton Club’s 3-court and 4-court PVC structures ready for the summer season.
This was a more unusual project, as seasonal dismantles are more often carried out on clear domes rather than PVC structures. With structures of this size, the work needs to be planned properly so the membrane, cables and components are all handled the right way from start to finish.
It is not just about getting the dome down quickly. The lowering sequence matters, the handling matters, and the way the structure is folded, rolled and stored matters too. Done properly, that helps protect the integrity of the dome and keeps it in the best possible condition for future use.
The Club’s groundsman came over later in the afternoon to check on progress and was surprised we had already completed the task at hand.
That is the difference when experienced hands are on site. We look forward to working with Roehampton Club again in the future.
