We’d like to apologise for the lack of recent posts on our page. We’ve been extremely busy with our ongoing contracts and are focused on delivering the highest standard of service to keep our clients happy.
Yesterday, we completed a challenging drainage repair that the homeowner’s insurance company declined to cover. Several companies had also refused to reline the pipe due to the distance involved and the complexity of the repair. Full excavation was an option, but it would have come at a significant cost due to the logistics and extent of the work required.
To provide a cost-effective solution, we excavated a small section to gain access to the system and created a controlled access hatch in the pipe. Using our Milwaukee cutting machine, we removed the existing root ingress before thoroughly jetting the line clean.
We then installed three 100mm x 1000mm CIPP liners at 21m, 22m and 23m downstream to seal the partial collapse and provide additional structural reinforcement, helping to extend the lifespan of the pipework and prevent future issues.
The entire repair was completed within a single day, and as you can see from the photos, you would hardly know that any excavation had taken place.
